I was scrolling through the directtv guide when the title, Ace of Cakes, caught my eye. A part of me chuckled as I wondered how it was possible to have an entire show dedicated to baking cakes. As I sat back to watch the show, I was completely blown away at the cakes these masters were creating.

I watched in awe as they made a huge cake of a bull mastiff for someone's birthday! It was unbelievably huge but also full of character and absolutely perfect. This crew gives a whole new meaning to bakers. They are extremely talented artists, most of whom never expected to be working in a cake shop.

This show has two amazing elements to it; food show meets artists. If you enjoy watching an artist create a masterpiece and cooking shows, then this show will not disappoint you. It's far more entertaining and real than Sandra Lee, Emeril, or Giada. You may not learn how to make a new recipe but you'll get a kick out of the crazy creators in action.
